The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Hello all!

Yesterday I tried the Abraham-Hicks method of delegating to your manager. I made a list of things I would do that day (even if they weren't relevant to my goals) and then I asked my manager to take care of two things that I knew I couldn't do. One was to send me good tenants.

Well it worked that very same day! Even though I didn't attempt everything on my own list it seems. I have two showings scheduled for today. I wonder if I should be more clear and say quiet, responsible, respectful tenants...will add that to today's list.

Anyway, I was impressed with the method and will continue to use if for anything that I feel is out of my hands. Give it a try if you haven't. Pretty exciting stuff;)

Be well.

Interesting... I often feel that way ('expectation that things will be taken care of is what makes this work and when you ask, trust and forget about it') when praying for sth- I just feel that I shouldn't 'interfere' by checking on the work being done, but rather leave it to God and just open for the results :)
I just have one tiny (really small:p) issue with this- trusting others to do sth for me... I don't do it in real life, and I can't even imagine it! :/

We're meant to imagine we own a large company and there are thousands of people working for us. All of these employees keep things running smoothly and make us successful. As the owner we don't know all of the employees personally and don't know firsthand what their capabilities and skills are, but we have a Manager, our right hand man, that works with them on our behalf. When we think of something all we have to do is delegate it to our manager and we can count on him to do it.
So when you have a goal, make a list of what you can do and what is out of your hands. The tasks that you can't do, delegate to your manager. I make a list and I expect them to get done (as they would in any real business) and they do. The expectation that your request will be fulfilled is key.

example
Me: place adds for rentals, pay plumber, call realtor
U (universe, manager, Mr. Belvedere, whatever works!): please find respectful, quiet tenants, I would like them to move in by the 15th of the month, please arrange an opportunity to bring in added money and I'd like any issues with the neighbors to be eliminated. That's all for now thanks for taking care of these things.

Again expectation that things will be taken care of is what makes this work and when you ask, trust and forget about it, it really does work. Let me know how it goes:)

How exactly does it work? Maybe I could try that as well...

I was just listening to the CD just a few weeks ago about delegating to your manager from ABRAHAM Jerry & Esther Hicks. I loved it and now that I saw your blog on it got me thinking that I do have some things I really need to delegate and it will help me on clarity for a few items. Thanks for the reminder! ;-)
