Season 3 Day 1

Last season I was saving up to buy a new vehicle. My goal was to save $1000 by January and I totally did it! I did it by getting a new job (I was a SAHM for 3 years) and opening up a separate bank account from the one we pay our bills with. Basically everyone penny I made was put into that account and not looked at. When we had the money saved we started looking for the vehicle we wanted. We also applied for a car loan. We were turned down by our bank but we didn't lose hope. We applied with the bank we have our mortgage through and they approved us. YaY! We our going to cancel the accounts we have at our current bank and move over to the bank that our mortgage is through. Anywho... We've been searching for a new auto for a couple weeks, looking online, driving around, and having friends keep an eye out for us. Then finally we found one online, but it wasn't at the dealer it was getting a re-call fixed. They dealer called us about a week later and let us know it was back. The next day we drove an hour and half to go see it and test drive it. We both agree that it is the one. The one we'll be getting. Today we were at the bank finalizing the loan and getting the check for the dealer!! We'll be driving the 1.5 hours back tomorrow to pick it up. We're trading in my husband's car. He bought it a few years ago really cheap, just something to get him back and forth to work. Now he'll get the car I am currently driving and I get the new one! So day one, We're one step closer to our new vehicle and tomorrow we'll be driving her home. (oh yeah I decided it's a she.. )
