The 100 Day Reality Challenge

I am a total and complete Facebook fan. I am on there at least 3-5 times a day, reading my news feeds, "talking story" with fam and friends and most of all, playing the game apps. My favorites are the ZyngaVille family of games, such as FarmVille, CityVille (and, although it's not a Ville, I love Empires & Allies!) So, I was thinking...why don't I create my own game app and call it GratitudeVille?

All the ZyngaVille game apps have plants growing, which one can turn in for cash (in FarmVille and Empires & Allies) or for product (in CityVille, to supply your businesses). MAYBE in GratitudeVille one can plant gratitude and appreciation fruits, vegetables and flowers. Specific plants could go to feed certain characters in the game, and you get bonus "support" (not necessarily money but maybe something to do with fuel), which would give you the energy to plant more items. Because we live in duality, we must have the GratitudeZappers, which take away GratitudePoints when we allow them to affect us...

I know it kind of sounds hokey, but I guess that I'm saying that the more gratitude and appreciation one shows in one's life, the more positivity one receives. Also, and I have found that it's true for me...when I give gratitude and appreciation, I get it back...DOUBLE, TRIPLE, sometimes more. I then get to recycle it back out and get MUCH MORE than what I give.

Have a great day, everyone :) Stay smiling :)

Whoops, got some stuff that I will be carrying over to tomorrow's 'to do' list...computer side job and calling to cancel my plane tickets to the Big Island in December. But I did the others on the list :) And I got to see the taped segment on "Cheap Eats" that I did with our local newspeeps. Yep, it was an awesome day!!!

Hi, Sherry,

The GratitudeVille is a brilliant idea! What types of apps are you creating? I'm very interested!

Update #1:

Item #1: I applied for 1 job today, a reference from a former coworker/acquaintance of mine. I talked to him on the phone, then sent him my resume. Will follow up with him later.

Item #2: I have completed the job interview. It went well. There might be 2, possibly 3 positions available to me. One is very close to my home and, if necessary, I can get there by bus as well as car. It's a good company and I'd love to work for them fulltime :)

More laters.

I FORGOT MY DAILY "TO-DO" LIST, got too caught up in creating "GratitudeVille" *lol*:

  1. Apply for 3 jobs SOMETIME TODAY...one is a follow up on a tip a former coworker/acquaintance sent to me through Facebook :)
  2. Go on job interview with a temp agency at 9:30am *please send blessings along the way*
  3. Finish my worksheet for my computer side job. I can do this after my interview but before my parttime job. I have to remember to contact the company and let them know that I will be delayed...hate to do that on my first assignment...I'll see if I can get these worksheets over the weekend, when I may have more time to do it.
  4. Be a positive presence at my parttime job today :) It's not hard because I have such great coworkers but I want to put this down just to remind myself.
  5. Cancel my trip to the Big Island in December. Need to get the money I paid for my plane tickets to pay some bills.

Last but not least, carry that Attitude of Gratitude, even in the darkest of moments.

PEACE!
