it's been an interesting few days,
after having company and then all the temptations around Halloween, I feel like I'm finally back on track with healthier eating, moderation and exercise. For the second 'visioning board' I did around career I ended up (as goofy as it sounds) Photo-shopping myself in shots of singer/songwriters I'd like to work with, the result was my head ended up on a bunch of thinner bodies...LOL...remarkably this has helped with my visualization exercises for health because when I'm having trouble accessing a imaginary image of what I want to look like I have the memory of those photos to help me out...I think it's actually increased my ability to visualize and make the visualizations clearer in my mind....so even though it might have been a goofy thing to do I think it was worth it :) :) :) I'm definitely more on track health wise than I have been in a long time. :)
interesting new developments with the career...
I sent a link to the vid for "when I didn't know how to sing" to my publisher and she loved it....LOVED it, she's pushing for this one to get attention and is taking it to a country music conference next weekend to shop it to some country artists. The reaction I've gotten for this song is very encouraging with several people spreading the word around about it...I wouldn't say it's gone 'viral' but it's definitely got some supporters behind it ...which makes me feel wonderful :D :D :D :D
Also talked more with my producer and we're coming down to the finish line of most of the work for the next album, almost everything is ready for mixing and mastering and then it will be a matter of coming up with manufacturing and publicity money....need to start visualizing that for sure. :) :) :)
all in all I'm cautiously optimistic about the career movements.
