Wow...I am so humbled how the Law of Detachment works and how the universe brings you what you need when you need it. About 2 months ago I met a beautiful soul on a weekend Breakthru course I did....You know when you meet someone and you are instantly connected? I don't mean in a superficial attraction way, but in a soul love way? Well, he asked me to keep in touch and I did.....I emailed him about 5 times and he never responded. I went through a withdrawal of sorts, as I really thought he was someone in my life to stay. I actually was hurt that he wasn't responding and questioned what I had felt.
I decided that I had to "let go" and what would be would be. It didn't mean that I didn't want him to contact me, but to let the universe and my higher self decide what was best. It wasn't easy ........... let me tell you, as I was going through some other major paradigm shifts at the time.
Well, today I got 3 emails from him apologising that he didn't check email often and to please stay in touch. He said he had felt the same connection with me over the course of the weekend and that he would love to stay in touch and talk about our Persona development journey and where we were headed.
Now again, I am staying in a place of detachment, but am extremely joyful at the same time. In life, I think we need to capture the moments of joy that come our way. Reach out to others, but realise not to hold on to tight. Our souls are fluid and our energy is constantly moving. Give love without ever expecting it back and it seems to come back many times over.
