The 100 Day Reality Challenge

Opening the Indigo & Crystal Child Conversation Wide Open!

With the research & insight of all you amazing educators, investigators, parents, homeschoolers and interested folks, I felt ready to create something to explore further how we can serve/raise these amazing children.
Please add any and all insights and comments. It is truely because of you that I made this to be seen by the wonderful educators in my childrens lives and beyond. Let's spread this info around. Change starts when preconceptions shrivel....does that work with cellulite, I wonder!?!

Thank-you, as always for being the thinking brilliant people you are.

hi sweetie,
i have too much to tell you to give feedback here...especially one handed typing!
indigos are so totally present it is painful, intense and sometimes interupted as rudeness and inattention.

i am wondering if it is time for me to do my educator series, since i will be spending the next few weeks on healing.....the series on muti-dimensional teaching.

all so true and astutely put..... go girl!

Yes Sherry, it is. As a long time educator your insights and voice are crucial. If you don't have "Dragon Speaks" voice activated dictating system for computer, maybe now is the time, because you speak beautifully with just one hand! You go girl.......'cause, you know girl!

Aleta- have you heard of the book My Stroke of Insight by Jill Bolte Taylor??? She is an American neurosurgeon who suffered a stroke...after 8 years she was able to re-learn all that she lost, but she also remembers how the right side of her brain was all she had that was active AND she talks of how fluid she felt and how she realised there really is SCIENTIFICALLY a spiritual side to us... The left side is the organised mathematical part of the brain and when that shut down for her, she experienced a new world.

Anyway-i don't think i wrote that very "fluidly" at all-but i think you will get a lot from it.
Love to you-Megan xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Greetings Aleta:
You are right about children. All of them must be taught as the individuals they are. Many of the students labeled "a.d.d ." etc. etc. over the years that i had in my classroom were merely students that responded to their environment differently. Till we make the connection we don't know what they have to give. Remember, Helen Keller was considered brain damaged by fever until they could break through to her and communicate to her in a way she could understand again. Each child has something to offer the world and is their educators need to find it ... not just prepare them for a standardized test which is currently the case. I have had many of these students over the years. I like to think of many of them as "tiggers" that bounce all over the room... but out think you 3 to one. I have taught for 37 years and it is these "problem " kids that have enough in them to be the movers & shakers later if properly guided.

My dearest Aleta, you're so right in everything It was strange to notice, I was thinking about myself first listening to this lol

As a teacher (being Indigo myself) it's very difficult to find a way that works the best for the children, dealing with the "old" schoolsystem. In my eyes all the energy has to go to changing the ways the children are taught and provide them only the best Like you said, not all the teachers are ready for this and most of the times it breaks my heart to see this happening It takes a lot of time and step by step little goals are reached
I'm trying to adapt and at the same time be innovative, but it's taking all my energy That's exactly what the children are feeling in the "old" schoolsystem...

What makes it more complicated is the amount of structure and discipline the children do need at the same time.. I think focus is important, but it's crucial in which way and which activity! There are many possibilities and I believe the children are showing us the way the follow

I can write about this for hours lol But realize it's my task to be complete and content with my own life first.. my heart and soul are telling me to focus on creativity myself This way I'm a better person for the children and (I hope) a rolemodel in living as the best I can be, in the "adult" world..

I work with children from 9 to 12 years old, sometimes as teachers we don't understand them . We want them to work as their peers and we don't realized they need other ways to learn. As Mascha said we need to change the way children are taught but not all the teachers are ready for this. As educators we need to find what our students are needing and work with it. I truly believe if we put all our effort we can help children to become who they really are.
Thanks for sharing this great job and keep going.

God bless you!

WOW tagging atoms how cool is that! Okay I have to go back and listen the rest, be right back LOL. Maybe " different " ( what society calls different ) are here to train for a special task. Just like bi-polar people should be treated as something they can give to the world instead of what they cant give. The same for ADHD. We all have our place in life and we have to be different inorder to connect. Like pieces of a puzzle, together they are shaped different, but created a wonderful view, a unit. Society says we have to be alike, but that is so much further from the truth. Creating different shaped atoms can form a connection to understanding one another. Maybe that is our answer to peace. Wouldnt it be great the we could have schools for different types of people so that they could focus on what they can contribute to the world. This way we would be getting the best of the best. Love, Light, and Many Manifestations to you
Donna-- Great subject

Megan, it is my deep hope that scientist like Jill Bolte Taylor will become active resources for where we need to take education next! Thank-you so much.
Lizbeth, thank God for teachers like you, thank-you, thank-you, thank-you for your years of insight. You are the foundation of wisdom in education that gives me great hope for what can be developed.
Oh Mascha, I am so very grateful that you work with children. The tightrope walk really is how to give them the safety of limits while allowing them to show us new territory. They crave the structure at the same time needing to restructure it. I think the disipline issue will develope a different language about feelings and how hard it is to be empathic if others are not educated about how it feels, the tangible reality of being bombarded by others untended to you said there is so much more and we have to keep ourselves strong and balanced. I think we are pioneering a shift towards recognizing actively the wisdom these kids were born with and the tether they absolutely much love to you!
Andie, Isn't it amazing how frequently something labled as a defect turns out to be a solution working it's way to the surface. We are required to be aware, that's all. My respect and love for your insights, wisdom and clarity just keeps growing. Much Love.
Elisa, It is no surprise to me that with your sensitivity, dedication and caring wisdom, you are in education, thank-you. I am so grateful that a woman of your heart turns out to be working with children. Yeah!
Ahhh Christine, the mystic poet in you is showing up again, as if anything could keep her away. You use words like watercolors, they help me feel my way to understanding.
Donna, I'm so excited by your comment! So much of what is labled as "mental dysfunction or illness" is (very) throrted communication based on our belief that feeling "bad" is somehow a failure rather than a system alerting us to a problem. Something as simple as a (your brilliant idea) shift in perspective from seeing mental differences as horrible failings to remembering the "mental" descriptions of most of our historical creative luminaries would rebalance a great deal in our current culture! Are you familiar with the work of visionary scholar, Jean Houston? She has written about schools that sound like what you are descibing. You would love her work, I sure do! It's so exciting to realize how a few simple shifts in point of view can open up our future....whoa hooo! Love to you and your beautiful heart/mind!
