A story about transforming fear

Posted on August 22, 2011 at 7:30am 4 Comments

So something happened last Tuesday that I decided I wanted to share.  I was at a family reunion/memorial for my grandparents.  Both my grandparents changed addresses, or died, this past year and their ashes were being buried near a lake in Ontario were they spent many summers.   My uncle asked if I would do a reading in the church the night before the memorial and I immediately felt the fear rise inside me.  I tend to ‘fearorize’ quite often.   My mind jumps to all the ‘what if’s’ and I have…

Destiny vs law of attraction

Posted on August 7, 2011 at 10:57pm 1 Comment

I've been thinking a lot about the law of attraction and my thoughts creating circumstances vs destiny and what is out of my control.  Not trying to think or rationalize it so much is likely the thing to do, but alas I'm not there yet.  I was chatting with a friend a couple weeks ago whose spriritual knowledge I like to soak up.  He believes we chose who are parents are going to be so that we can have the experiences we need, in order to heal whatever energy stuff needs to be healed.  I had…

My 'story' - anxiety and fatigue

Posted on July 26, 2011 at 12:00am 1 Comment

I took a little break from electronics when I was at the cottage.  I had a great week with family and am grateful for that.  I would love to stop there or continue with the fun details of my trip BUT my mind keeps going to thoughts that I could have been feeling better and enjoying things even more if I didn't have so much fear.  There is, what I label as, 'anxiety' in my life a lot of the time.  And more so in the last week or so.  I am present with it and try to love it and let it do its… Continue

Day 18 - let life live you

Posted on July 10, 2011 at 9:46pm 1 Comment

I sometimes watch this life coach, raw food guy on youtube.  He always has loads of passion,  energy and good vibes to share.  The video I watched today was reiterating the fact that we need to let go, stop fighting and go with the flow.  I think this is what Elise must mean in her page title Downstream Dreams.  I kept meaning to ask her and still will if she doesn't read this. :)  I do believe that letting go and allowing the universe to provide for you is the key and I am often able to get…

I forgot to mention that I am friends with most of the lovely ladies who have left comments on your page so far and I wanted to share that they are amazingly brilliant, giving, and great at offering loving and ongoing support!  Very excellent "friend" choices!

HI Megan,

I'm sorry this is coming to you a bit belated.  I sometimes forget to check my comments box for incoming comments.   You'd think that I'd remember that after 7 seasons, huh???  LOL

Anyway, thank you for your kind words and welcome to CCOR.  I really love being a part of this community.  I have taken several short hiatuses, but never for long.  The inspiration and support I receive here is invaluable to me.  If you find that you're gone longer than you planned, just come right back and jump back in!  Open arms is what you'll find here!

I really love your description of your intentions.  My relationship with food is something I am working on as well.  It is an ongoing relationship.  And a Boston Terrier named Tucker!  Adorable!  I just lost my Boxer Rupert last month and the house has been way too quiet.  It is my first time being dog-less in 19 years!  My daughter and I want to get a Boston Terrier next when the timing is right for us!  Today I was thinking of a cute name for a Boston and "Tucker" came to my mind.  How's that for synchronicity?

It is so nice to meet you!

Have a wonderful day,
